Western Brown Line Bus Stop Temporarily Relocating During Lincoln Square Construction

LINCOLN SQUARE — Construction is underway on several projects at Leland and Western avenues in Lincoln Square that will require northbound commuters who catch the bus at the Western Brown Line stop to adapt their route slightly.

Northbound #49 and #X49 buses normally stop at the Western Brown Line stop, 4648 N. Western Ave. During construction that began this week, the buses will be rerouted to stop a little farther south at the southeast corner of Western and Eastwood avenues, according to Ald.
