Lincoln Square Traffic Reroute Begins Wednesday

LINCOLN SQUARE — Commuters should plan ahead as Western, Leland and Lincoln avenues will soon have a new traffic pattern as part of the renovation of the Western Brown Line and other projects near the intersection.

Construction crews will place barrels near the intersection of Western and Leland avenues starting Wednesday to temporarily reroute traffic for the Brown Line Plaza renovation, according to Ald. Matt Martin’s (47th) office.

The new traffic pattern is identical to the one temporarily set up before the winter holidays and will shift traffic one-way eastbound on Leland and one-way southbound on Lincoln to Eastwood. Read More Here.
