Amber Favorite

Amber Favorite attended a vocational high school and learned the basics of graphic design and running a printing press. In college, she was introduced to letterpress printing. The antique machinery, individual letters, smell of ink were magic to Amber! After college, she worked for an agency, then for a large corporation. She was restless and dreamed of working for herself, so she started freelancing. She realized freelance was feast or famine finances, to help she found a job at a local stationery shop. While there, she learned of letterpress classes and enrolled, volunteered, spent as much time as possible learning letterpress and fine-tuning her craft. Amber always had a passion for design and typography; letterpress printing became a magical, creative world filled with both. She quickly learned people liked her style, which inspired her to create a line of greeting cards and stationery, the beginning of a. favorite design.
