Seeking Kind & Playful Kids Space Coach
Brush Park Gym is seeking an Active Play Coach to join our team.
Brush Park Gymnasium is an inclusive and welcoming neighborhood gym in the heart of Lincoln Square, right next to the Rockwell Brown line. It is a gym for families to work out, connect, and make healthy living a part of their lives.
We’re looking for a positive, caring, and playful team member to engage and supervise children of all ages, including babies & toddlers, in our indoor play space.
Responsibilities:- Implement active play activities for babies, toddlers, and elementary-aged children.
- Provide a safe, fun, and caring environment for all kids.
- Stay engaged in play and be an active participant in the space.
- Help foster a welcoming environment for all children.
- Communicate well to parents and caregivers to offer the best experience for all members and kids.
- Help with bathroom breaks and communicate with other team members when parent needs to be notified for diaper changes.
- Clean and put away play equipment between classes.
- Check children in and out of the play space.
- Be aligned with our team member core values. We are looking for someone who is professional, loves playing with kids, and is active!
- College degree
- Current first aid, CPR, and other safety certifications.
- Prior experience with children required.
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
- Ability to lift children and hold babies.
- Ability to be on your feet throughout the shift.
- Ability to commute to Lincoln Square.
- Ability to execute emergency procedures.
- $18.25/hr-$22/hr
- ~15 hours week
