• Assistant Director of Music NEdM and the Fine Arts

    Part time - about 10 hours per week.

    Managing the day to day operations of the music school and the non-profit.  In addition to this, provides strategic planning for the overall student and teacher enrollment.

    General Accountabilities: Manages and oversees functional areas of NEdM and FAM-PS. Plans, coordinates and executes incoming students’ registration. In tandem with the Director, actively participates in institution planning, development, and team building. In tandem with the Director actively participates in FAM-PS concert series organization. Monitors student/parent and teacher satisfaction and coordinates problem  resolution. Ensures compliance at all times with federal and state accreditation, laws, standards, and regulations. In tandem with the Director develops and manages NEdM’s and FAM-PS’s budgets and prepares reports. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director.

    Job Qualifications:
    Education: Bachelor's degree in education administration with a concentration in music or a degree in fine arts.
    Experience: Three to five years of related experience is preferred.
    Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, organizational skills, time management, collaboration skills, service orientation, experience with public relations and marketing and various media channels (internet, radio, tv, FB, Instagram..)

    This role is both in person and remote.
