Summary:

Seeking a talented candidate for a unique opportunity to work and learn with a passionate, award winning wine director and service professional.  This is an opportunity for natural hosts to display and increase their talents in a vibrant retail environment.  

Attributes we are seeking and questions to consider:

• Empathetic, can you relate to a wide range of people and quickly access and ascertain their needs?
• Outgoing, engaging personality
  • Are you engaging? Can you tell a story?
• 3 years in hospitality
• Do you have a high aptitude for learning?
• Do you have a passion for fine foods and libations?
  • Do you know the difference between a west coast IPA and an English IPA?
  • Can you name the primary red grapes grown in the Rhône?
  • Do you enjoy learning about and building cheese /charcuterie boards? Building recipes at home?
• Are you a passionate person naturally disposed towards hospitality and organization? 
• At least intermediate Wine Knowledge with a sincere interest in expanded study is a must for this position.
• Ability to lift 35 - 40lbs and perform physical activities such as walking, stocking and climbing a flight of stairs with a case of wine.

Availability: 
3-4 shifts a week for part-time or full-time. Must have some weekend availability. Store hours typically 9AM-9PM.  
$20-$24hr based on experience
