Brazilian Jazz with singer Luciano Antonio

Experience a night of Brazilian Jazz, with three musicians that came together in a one of a kind trio: Ana Ewerling, Luciano Antonio, Luiz Ewerling.

Ana Ewerling was born in the Republic of Moldova. She draws heavily upon her native country's folkloric tradition and jazz, with soulful, sparkling vocals. Her debut album “Soleira”, released in 2018, combines music from Spain, Brazil and Argentina, arranged for voice and classical guitar.

Luciano Antonio is a force in the Brazilian Music Scene. He transcends all borders and time through his soulful renditions of some of Brazil's greatest compositions and his own original works and collaborations.
Luciano released two albums of original music "Vida de Arista - An Artist's Life" in 2011, and "Sem Palavras - Without Words" in 2015. His most recent accomplishments include the release of his 3rd album - "Luciano Antonio Quintet - Live At Jazz Showcase w/ special guests Breno Sauer and Neusa Sauer.

Luiz Ewerling has been behind a drum kit since his sixth birthday, and has been carrying his Brazilian mastery of rhythm everywhere. Luiz has recorded and performed with Som Brasil, Sugar Blue, Elza Soares, Howard Levy, and many others. His album "Our Earth", released in 2002, divines a unique blending of Brazilian and American musical styles, ranging from Brazilian Pop to Rock, from Samba to Swing, from the free flowing pulse of the Partido Alto to contemporary jazz.
