Yoga for Pelvic Health - 4 week series with Jessica Gonsiorowski
A strong pelvic floor helps keep the pelvic and abdominal organs healthy as we age. In fact, the pelvic muscles are crucial for optimal functioning of the body. For an array of reasons this area can be too gripped, or too weak and sometimes both. The proper work of strengthening and stretching the pelvic floor helps to create a functional foundation of all movements of the body. Posture and breath can greatly affect the pelvic floor which is why Yoga can help.
During this 4 week series, you will learn how to create more tone as well as how to relax your pelvic floor. Learn how releasing and strengthening the supporting muscles around the pelvis can alleviate discomfort and bring more freedom into your movements.
